Contests are a really great way to spend free time.
Trying to Win a Voting Contest
I participated in my first contest in January of 2010. It was a flop – I only gathered 200 votes from my friends and family. The winner took first place with over 5,000 votes. I was never that popular of a person, so I decided: “Never again! These contests are way too hard.”
Five or six months later I found myself in another contest. This time I did research. I really wish ContestMob.com was around at that time or it would have been way easier. I researched how to get votes and found vote exhanges on Facebook. I joined a bunch of them. I saw that quite a few were not actively run by an admin and created my own group. The contest ended with me coming in around 4th place.
New Facebook Vote Exchange Page
To take some time up I tried to get my Facebook group as large as possible. It then dawned on me. Why not a Facebook Page. I then created a page called Vote Exchange. I have also gained many friends that like contests just as I do. While my page was growing I finally won my first contest… It was a chicken incubator! A small prize but I loved it. All my hard work finally paid off. My Facebook page grew. In November I decided to create my own site. Thus the vote exchange forum was born.
Vote Exchange Forum
My site is currently at voteexchange.niceboard.com. It has been growing rapidly. With almost 300 members and tons of votes being exchanged. It’s really weird how a little contest started this whole grand thing. I now love entering contests and I am running my website to help others win. My main goal was to create a clean place where members can return votes.
Keeping the site free of scammers and cheaters is my main priority. We absolutely hate any member that uses multiple accounts to gain more votes! Remember – play fairly and read all the contest rules and you will be on your way to winning your own great prize.
